Gold may open gap down

As dollar is weak today and rupee is strong, it may affect gold in MCX. Gold may open gap down today. Gold was trading in a flow with dollar, so strong rupee may affect it.

Today dollar has made day low of 67.05 till 9.40 am. After a big rally and records rupee is now getting strong today. It is a good sign because of which sensex is trading in green. 

Sensex & Nifty took U-Turn

Sensex and Nifty which were trading with a big fall of around 600 points and 150 points respectively tooks U turn and recovers almost fully at the last hour of today's session. Sensex closed with positive 24 points and Nifty closed almost flat.

Dollar tests 69 levels in Rupees

The US Dollar breaches the 69 levels in Rupees today morning. Its all time low of rupee.

Rupee falls to 66 against the Dollar

Indian rupee today breached the 66-mark against the US dollar for the first time in history during the mid session. A strong US currency overseas and capital outflow also weighed down the rupee, pulling it to the lowest it has ever been, against the dollar.
Indian finance minister told to Rajya Sabha that rupee will find its appropriate level. "There are not just external factors, there are also domestic factors. We recognise there are domestic factors. One of the domestic factors is that we allowed the fiscal deficit to be breached and we allowed current account deficit to swell because of certain decisions that we took during the period 2009 to 2011," he said.

Sensex breaks 18000

Today sensex has break the 18000 level and it has been closed below it.
Nifty also has been closed below 5300.
